Site container handover: what should the record include?

Compare the agreed drawings, fit-out and outstanding items when handing over a site container in northern Vietnam, with a clear record of observations and responsibilities.

1. Bring the agreed document set

Before handover, collect the agreed layout drawings, fit-out list and contractual scope. Record each document revision or date to avoid checking against an outdated drawing. For several units, assign identifiers to units and rooms and reuse them on photographs and checklists. This organizes the record; project-specific acceptance requirements remain those agreed for the project.

2. Compare each unit with the agreed fit-out

Check quantities, locations and types of doors, windows, partitions and other items listed in the order. Mark optional beds, air conditioning, canopies or sanitary fittings as received only after checking the agreed list. Website options do not mean those items are included in every order. Record missing items, location differences and specification differences separately for confirmation.

3. Record observable condition with photographs

Observe panel and floor surfaces, joints and areas around openings. If scratches, deformation, gaps or moisture signs are found, identify the location and take both context and close-up photographs with the unit identifier. Door operation can be checked under safe conditions and the actual result recorded. Appearance alone does not establish structural, fire, wind or whole-building watertightness performance.

4. Keep utility checks separate from visual inspection

Where utilities are included, list the agreed handover points and connection responsibilities: supplier work, site preparations and unfinished work. Technical checks or commissioning should be carried out safely by suitably qualified personnel. Do not open electrical panels, connect supplies or test equipment without authorization. Use “not checked” where results are unavailable; installed equipment is not automatically a passed test.

5. Assign follow-up for every outstanding item

A tracking row can include unit/room ID, item, documented requirement, observed condition, photo reference, responsible party and an agreed follow-up date. Distinguish checked, unchecked and action-required items. Add the result and confirmation date when work is completed rather than deleting the original observation. Timing and responsibilities must be agreed for each case; this article does not establish a supplier warranty or repair commitment.

Questions before signing the handover record

How should an unchecked item be recorded? State that it is unchecked, explain why and identify the next confirmation step; do not group it with passed items. What should you send to Dong Phuong Lien Kien to discuss a layout? Prepare the northern Vietnam site location, intended use, drawings or room list and desired fit-out. Use Products to explore the range and Get a quote to submit the request. Personal residential use needs a separate discussion of site and use requirements; a handover record does not replace project suitability assessment.
