Site office containers: prepare an electrical equipment brief

List equipment, locations and open questions before discussing the electrical fit-out of a site office container in northern Vietnam. This brief does not replace electrical design.

Why list equipment before agreeing the fit-out?

A site office may need computers, printers, network equipment or air conditioning. These are examples of customer requirements, not items automatically included with a building. Dong Phuong Lien Kien describes electrical fit-out as project-specific and lists additional electrical options. Send a specific brief rather than assuming the base fit-out covers all intended equipment.

What information belongs against each device?

For each equipment group, record its name, expected quantity, location and supplier. If a model is selected, attach the manufacturer’s documentation or label information; otherwise mark it as undecided. Usage information, including equipment expected to run at the same time, is input for technical review, not a conclusion about supply capacity.

Put requirements on the desk layout

Send a sketch of desks, storage and work areas, marking intended equipment locations and points needing discussion. Include current needs and possible later additions. This is a use brief: final positions, quantities and technical solutions must be agreed in the drawing and order specification.

Separate customer-supplied and requested items

Separate customer-supplied equipment, items for which advice or a quote is requested, and undecided items. Air conditioning, ventilation and additional electrical fit-out are existing option groups, but their models, quantities and supply scope are not automatically included. State them explicitly in the agreed specification or quote.

Clarify site inputs and the scope of work

Share known information about the site supply point and the responsible contact so checks can be coordinated. Mark unknown conditions as requiring inspection instead of estimating. Clarify internal fit-out, site connections and who performs each part. This article gives no wiring, cable-sizing or protective-device instructions and does not replace electrical design or technical checks.

Can you send a brief before choosing devices?

Start with the office’s intended use, expected equipment groups and a layout sketch. Separate known facts from questions and add model information when available. Do not invent power ratings or unconfirmed product specifications to complete the form; leave those fields pending confirmation.

A short brief you can send

You can write: “Office location …; intended use and expected users …; equipment I will supply …; items needing advice …; attached layout …; known site supply information …; unresolved questions …”. Browse the flat-pack product line and send the brief through the quote request section. Before agreeing the order, check that the equipment list, drawing and quoted configuration refer to the same revision.
